Following on from the victory of Team USA at Hazeltine, Team Europe will be hell bent on exacting revenge in the wonderful surroundings of Golf National, in the suburbs of Paris, in 2018. This bi – annual event has become one of the most watched sporting events on the planet, and the London Irish Business Alliance are delighted to be offering members and clients some amazing opportunities to attend, and use the Ryder Cup matches to entertain valued clients, and members of staff.
The Event team managing the London Irish Rugby Business Alliance have an extensive knowledge of the city of Paris, through work undertaken with corporate clients at the 2007 Rugby World Cup, the European Football Championships 2016 and numerous Champions League, 6 Nations, Heineken Cup and Champions Cup matches in the city. We have also used the Golf National Paris on a number of occasions as a venue with a number of our corporate clients. This event is going to be in super high – demand, therefore an early booking will ensure that you can avail of all the best opportunities regarding your itinerary.
The Ryder Cup opening ceremony is Thursday 27th September 2018 and the matches will take place from the 28th – 30th September.
The week will commence on Tuesday 25th September 2018 with both teams practicing and familiarising themselves with the Golf National Paris layout. The format for the matches will be as follows;
The wonderful city of Paris will be a fantastic host to the 2018 Ryder Cup matches. The Golf National Golf Club is situated just 30km from the city centre, therefore we highly recommend basing your guests in the city itself. Paris is full of bustling streets, with many wonderful restaurants, bars and cafes for your group to relax and enjoy, after a day of watching the Ryder Cup.
The Hospitality suites will be situated at a number of prime locations at the Golf National Golf Club. The options will include private suites for numbers of 50+, or tables of 10 in the main Hospitality facility. The Hospitality package will include entrance tickets, and access to the all – day hospitality suites at the event. The duration of the Golf, from 08.00 in the morning to conclusion at 18.30, means that you and your guests can enjoy a well – earned break at any stage during the day, and enjoy morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea, or simply pop back for a cold beer and a chat.
All Airport/Hotel/Ryder Cup transfers are included in whatever package option is selected for the event. Prices are from £95.00 per person per day. We would be delighted to arrange any additional private transfers that you may require throughout the duration of the event.
The Event team will use scheduled flights from various airports across the UK to Paris Charles de Gaulle, and alternatively we will be running a private charter flight from London into Paris Orly, which is a short 20 minute transfer to the Golf National Paris.
The private charter schedule will be as follows;
Clients in the UK can avail of the Eurostar Premier/ Business Class train service from St Pancras International into Paris Gare du Nord.
The journey time is just 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Transfer time from Paris Gare du Nord to the Golf National is just 55 minutes.
